Although living in Haiti has prepared me for many"lockdowns", this one (due to COVID-19) in particular brings a different type of energy. With the whole world put on a pause, we have a lot of time to reflect. The optimist in me believes that this time is an opportunity to go within to grow. However, during these uncertain times, it's easy for our shadow self - the unconscious part of our souls that shape our behaviors, often the ugly and negative aspects of our being - to come out in full affect. The series Shadow Self explores the confrontation with these inner demons and  one's innate desire to break free and heal.
